Terry Randal Elder

After an incredibly courageous battle with cancer, it is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a dear husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Terry was surrounded by several loving family members at the moment his journey ended. He will never be forgotten and is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of 33 years, Judy; the apple of his eye, his wonderful daughter Christina; and their sweet kitty, Chloe. Sharing their grief are his siblings: Jeanette (Larry) Slid, Brian, Arlene (Bob) Tessier, Eugene, Denise (Barry) Cusack, Patricia (Chris) Szlichcinski, Reg, and Randy (Lisa), along with numerous extended family members and friends. Terry was predeceased by his precious parents, Anthony and Rita Elder, as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Josie.

The family would like to thank the outstanding and exceptional staff from the Palliative Home Care Services. In addition, they would also like to acknowledge the dedication and kindness of the doctors and nurses at the CCI and the University of Alberta Hospital.

In lieu of flowers and in honour of Terry, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, The Cross Cancer Institute, or a charity of your choice.
