With heavy hearts we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Vera Thelma Mae Aylwin at the age of 76.
She is survived by her sister Noel, her loving husband of 57 years Roy, their children Brenda (Darrell) Corie, Alana (Norman) Chwaklinski, Scott (Michele) Aylwin, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grand children.
Thelma was an outgoing person who made friends easily. A caring individual, a loyal friend and a loving mother, Thelma was very proud of her family. She was always willing to share her time and talents with others and she was an active volunteer over many years - most recently with the Friends of University Hospitals.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute - Patient Services. Funeral Service to be held Tuesday March 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 34 Ave. Edmonton.
