Stadnyk Cousin Tribute:
Victor Edgar Moore was the first grandchild of Joseph and Katherine Stadnyk, born to their eldest daughter Agnes and her husband Victor Moore. That made him the eldest of a great many Stadnyk cousins that followed, due to Agnes having 11 brothers and sisters. Because his Dad and an Uncle were both named Victor, Victor Jr. was called Edgar for pretty much all his life in Saskatchewan. We younger cousins called him Uncle Edgar, because he was closer in age to our parents, and Cheryl, Deirdre, Brenda and Anita were the same age as me and my siblings. He was the “cool Uncle” if there was such a thing back then, and everyone loved visiting with Uncle Edgar, Auntie Margie and the girls. There is way too much to say about how wonderful and interesting a person Cousin Edgar was, so I will jump to the present. Some of us cousins were fortunate enough to visit or be visited by Edgar, Margie and their family in recent years. For many other cousins, we kept in touch through our Facebook Messenger Group “Stadnyk Family Tree”. He was our fountain of knowledge, history and wisdom. And always witty and entertaining. I think I can speak for all the Stadnyk cousins that we will all cherish our many and varied memories of Victor Edgar and honour our eldest cousin as the gem of a man that he was. Our condolences to Marge and the girls and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Victor’s was a life well-lived and you have much to be proud of.

One of the happiest men I remember from my childhood.  Touring the Turkey processing plant he worked at so very long ago is still in my ear wedge space.  Lost track of him and his family despite being related.  May he rest well and take up another assignment to keep people cheerful in his absence.

Uncle’s ability to light up a room with a joke, a story,  wise words or simply his infectious smile will be cherished forever. Much love to everyone.

I remember my great grandpa as someone Who were tell jokes and make people laugh. He would always tell us amazing stories from his past, and we would love listening to them! We miss you so much grandpa I love you❤️🕊🕊🦋🌸🌼🌻🌻🦋🦋🐻‍❄️
