Lindsay passed peacefully with his loving wife of 43 years, Jan, by his side, holding his hand. Left to cherish beautiful memories are many loved relatives and dear friends in Canada, UK, and Australia.
Born in Llanrhidian, Wales he and Jan immigrated to Edmonton, Canada in 1978. He retired in 2016 after working as an experienced millwright and then a parts specialist.
He loved his life with Jan and the simplest of pleasures brought great joy to Lindsay, RVing, gardening, cooking, golfing, his pets, watching screwdriver documentaries and especially dvd's of The Band and Eric Clapton. He had a very dry sense of humour and was quite the comedian. He also loved a dry cider or a bottle or two of Sauvignon Blanc!
Lindsay would now tell us, glass in hand, to mourn deeply and then move forward to live fully and robustly.
Special thanks to the Staff and Doctors at the Cross Cancer Institute and Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. A Celebration of his life, well lived, will take place at a later date.
Cheers and Nos Dda dear gentle and generous soul.
