William Kenneth Gaylor

October 15, 1937 – June 27, 2025

William “Bill” Gaylor of St. Albert, Alberta passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 27, 2025 at the age of 87 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Steve(Shauna) Gaylor, Michael Gaylor, and Lynn(Dan) Denchuk; brothers Jim(Elvy) Gaylor and Dave(Nancy) Gaylor; grandchildren Austin and Tara; great grandchildren Brady and Desmond. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Bill is predeceased by his wife Marilyn.

Born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, Bill moved to Hamilton, Ontario in 1960 where he met and married Marilyn. After raising 3 children, Bill and Marilyn moved out west to St. Albert, Alberta in 1983. He remained busy working for Shell Canada until 1994, when he enjoyed a well deserved retirement after 28 years of service.

Bill enjoyed biking, hiking, golfing, curling and spending time with his family and many friends. He was also an avid Hamilton Tiger-Cats fan.

We will all remember Bill for his kindness, sense of humour and his hearty laugh.

A memorial service with livestream will be held on Friday July 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta.
