William Harvey Whitney

Harvey lived a full life as a father, school teacher and RCAF Veteran. He loved to build and fix things, talk and laugh, rototill his garden, play cards, spend time at his Pigeon Lake cabin, and spend winters somewhere warmer than Edmonton. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Harvey is predeceased by his parents Karl and Rita Whitney, wife Lillian, beloved son Garth, sister Phyllis, and long-time partner Gladys.

Left with a lifetime of love and memories – and inheriting his sweet tooth – are his children Joan, Neil (Carol), and Ross (Lorena). Harvey will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren (so far!).

A Celebration of Harvey’s Life will be held at Laurel Heights Retirement Residence on Friday, October 21 at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, treat yourself and your loved ones to a nice dessert.
