Anna Marie Bright was born October 1, 1926 in Huntington Long Island, New York, to Francisco and Mary Auletto and passed away on October 3, 2018 surrounded by prayers, comfort and love. Anna was a wonderful wife, amazing mother, precious grandmother, loving sister, kind aunt, and best friend.
Anna was raised in Long Island, New York until she was 20 years old. The family then moved out to El Cajon, California. Anna worked as a waitress until she married Joseph Bright in 1959. Anna and Joseph raised two children, Frank and Joanne. Anna loved family most, gardening second, and animals third. You could always find her gardening on her 2-acres in El Cajon, reading, or doing crossword puzzles. The light of her life was her granddaughter Hailey.
Anna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Bonnie Bright; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Brian Harkness; and her granddaughter, Hailey Ann Harkness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the El Cajon Mortuary, 684 S. Mollison Avenue, El Cajon, California 92020 at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
