Augestin Youhanna, age 81, of El Cajon, California passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. Augestin was born in Iraq.

Augestin is survived by his son Wisam Youhanna (Rita Youhanna); and his son Patrick Youhanna; his brother Luis Sana (Muntaha), his sister Rachel Almasri (Elias Almasri), his sister Elizabeth Yokhana and his sister Francis Sana.

Augestin was preceded in death by his spouse Mary Youhanna; his brother Abdalahad Sana (Maryam Sana); his brother Emmanuel Sana (Suad); his sister Margo Sana; his brother Dinkha SanA and his brother Salem Sana.

Augestin also leaves two grandchildren.

A funeral mass for Augestin will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, 1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019. Following the funeral mass will be a graveside service at 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
