Botan is survived by his daughter Nazdar Botani; and his daughter Nahreen Botani; his mother Warina Botani; his sister Joanna Botani, his brother Showan Botani, his brother Sherwan Botani and his brother Peter Botani; his granddaughter Melody Castro and his grandson Adrian Castro.

A funeral service for Botan will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church, 799 East Washington Avenue, #5327, El Cajon, CA 92020. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
