Carleen Georgia Erwin

July 28th, 1936 - December 31st, 2018

Carleen Georgia Erwin passed away peacefully in her sleep at 6:50 am on December 31st, 2018.

During her college years Carleen worked as secretary for the Assistant Administrator of Sharp Memorial Hospital. After getting married to Donald on June 16th, 1962 she became co-owner of Allen's Audio & Video for 35 years, heading up the bookkeeping and accounting, all while being "room mom" for her children. She was very involved in her children's school and extra-curricular activities.

Carleen loved fishing, dancing, entertaining and playing cards, just to name a few. She was an active member of Foothills Republican Women Federated (FRWF) where she spent countless hours volunteering to help make a difference. For the past 7 years, she was very involved with Freedom Station for injured veterans on behalf of the Republican Party and FRWF. Carleen was a member of Red Hats and enjoyed it immensely.

Carleen is survived by her husband Donald, daughter Lori and grandsons Mike (26) and Jeremy (17), sons Brian and Craig (and Mayri), sister Clarice, brother Gary (and Marsha) and step-daughter Debbie (and Larry) and grandchildren Ryan and Leanne.

Carleen was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, best friend to college roommate Lynn and friend to all. She always put others first and was loved and adored by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
