Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend

Craig Lee Williams was born on July 31, 1961 in La Mesa, California. At age 57, he passed away quietly in his La Mesa home on the evening of September 22, 2018.

He was the firstborn of five children to Donald and Patricia Williams (Vasconcellos).

He is survived by his father, Donald Williams, four sisters (and their spouses/children): Traci Williams (Anthony Gonzales, Robert Gaffney, Alexis Gaffney) Lisa and Glenn Fricke (Amber Leigh, Kelli Sanchez, Matthew Fricke), Desiree and Aaron Thrasher (Zachary Thrasher, Quinn Thrasher) and Marci and Timothy Roberts (Mikayla Benoit, Danielle Benoit, Seth Vogel).

He is also survived by his Aunt Veronica Schoeneweis, Uncle William Williams and Aunt Joan Rimmer, along with numerous cousins.

Craig grew up in Spring Valley, California where he graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1979. He quickly became known for his masonry skills for which he had an amazing talent.

He enjoyed the desert, Fiesta Island, racing RC cars, riding motorcycles, working on his truck and building things. He loved the outdoors and working with his hands.

Craig was well-liked. He had the gift of making and keeping long time friends. He was loyal, generous, kind and caring. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on October 14, 2018 at the El Cajon VFW Hall, 136 Chambers Street, El Cajon, California 92020. Food will be served immediately following the service, at the same location.
