He spent his early childhood in Cameroon, West Africa, where his parents were missionaries.
He graduated from Lemoore High School, Lemoore, California, Whitworth College, Spokane Washington and Presbyterian Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. He served churches in Greensburg, Indiana and Bloomfield, New Jersey.
He then and a 25 year career with Unisys Corporation, a Military Contractor.
Since 1984 until retirement he was a Parish Associate at Lakeside Community Presbyterian Church.
