Edward Charles Bourdon was born July 10, 1944 at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA. His parents were Robert Charles Bourdon and Geraldine Jeannette Bourdon (Gustafson). Edward has a sister, Robin Poe and brother, Robert Bourdon.
Edward graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, CA in 1962. Edward joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War being awarded a Purple Heart. He rose to rank of Specialist 5. After leaving the Army he earned his Associate of Arts degree from Grossmont College.
Edward worked for K-Flag Radio for 10 years, Wella Products for 15 years and lastly as President of R & E General Contractors for the last 7 years. After retirement Edward moved to Chandler, AZ to be close to his brother Robert.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Heather Sullivan of Fort Collins, CO, Sister, Robin Poe of El Cajon, CA, brother, Robert Bourdon of Chandler, AZ, Grandson, Preston Sullivan of Fort Collins, CO, and Niece, Cynthia Scott of Lakeside, CA
Service were held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at El Cajon Mortuary with burial at El Cajon Cemetery.
