James B. Bosley May 8, 1921 - August 31, 2017 San Diego Lt. Col. USAFR (Ret.) James Beckham Bosley died Aug. 31, 2017. Jim grew up on a farm in Daviess Co., KY, one of 11 children. He served in WWII, the Korean Conflict, and in the Active Reserve for many years. He married Nancy Vere Watenpaugh in 1944, with whom he raised 4 children. He taught Agriculture and Math at El Cajon Valley High from 1953-1984. He was a member of the Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church for 50 years, where he served on many church boards and was active in ministries to prisons and convalescent homes. He served on the Board of ARC of San Diego, East County. He is survived by his children: Ellen Cook, John Bosley, Sally Marshall and Doug Bosley; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be at Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1pm.
