Jesus Armando Jimenez, age 45, of El Cajon, California passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Jesus was born on December 21,1976 in Bakersfield, California to Victoria Yanez Jimenez and Jesus A. Jimenez.
Jesus was a well-respected teacher at Granite Hills High school. He taught high school Spanish and was also a counselor in previous years. He stressed the importance of dedication and focused intent to show students the one could persevere through hard work. Each summer he would pick a project to work on to stay positively productive. He learned about woodworking, gardening, and cultivating his own worm farm for castings and composting. When he decided to do something he would research and study whatever his interests were to accomplish his tasks. Jesus never set limits on learning for himself or his students.
Jesus is best described as a loving, dependable, caring man who was well grounded. He loved his family and his students. " Students don't care what you know, until they know how much you care, then and only then will they give their best effort to succeed."
