Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Sweet; his step son Rochelle Hunt (Ken) of La Jolla, California; his step son Richard Hunt (Silana) of Temecula, California; and his step daughter Cindy Vandenberg of Spring Valley, California; his brother Robert H. Sweet (Charlene) of Seattle, Washington.

A funeral service for Robert will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at El Cajon Mortuary and Cremation Service, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr., San Diego, CA 92122. A visitation will occur Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020.
