She was an active member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She spent her life helping her family, friends, and neighbors. When someone was in need she was always there with a helping hand and a chocolate pie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Qunion Lewis, a son, Kevin Lewis, nine brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by one sister, Irene Lewis of Columbia, TN, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday at 1:00 PM, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, followed by the service at 2:00 PM with Dr. Donnie Hargett and Rev. Tracy Roden officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
