She was a member of Murmil Baptist Church and a homemaker. Amy was an artist, who enjoyed rug hooking, oil painting, ceramics, embroidery, junk-tiquing, and spending time with family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Fred and Matilda Olin; husband of 63 years, Marion "Pap" Tarver; son, James Gordon Tarver; daughter-in-law, Annie Tarver; four sisters, Loraine Honea, Elvie Burke, Margie Juckett, Lina Burke; six brothers, James Honea, Gordon Olin, Victor Lamont, Freddy Olin, William Cleaver, and James Olin; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Beverly Short.
Survivors include her son, Michael Lee Tarver of Wasilla, AK; half-sister, Annie Honea of Ruby, AK; and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at Young's. Cremation arrangement are entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
