Angela Marie McRae

She was born December 23, 1975 to David Gathright and Vickey Boyette in El Dorado, AR. Angela is a member of Victory Bible Church and worked as a self-employed tax preparer.

Preceding her in death are her father, David Gathright , sister Dominique Gathright and grandson, Braydon Ponder.

Survivors include her husband, Mike McRae of Norphlet; parents, Danny and Vickey Pesnell of Smackover, daughter, Desiree Boggus (Scott) of Camden; sons, Justin Ponder (Caitlyn) of El Dorado, Dakota Ponder of Smackover; brothers, David Gathright of Austin, AR, Joshua Pesnell (Kim) of Smackover; mother-in-law, Dora McRae of Norphlet; step-children, Michael McRae of Norphlet, Mandy Mays (Gene) of Tacoma, WA, Sherry Rogers of El Dorado; and fifteen grandchildren, Hayden Boggus, Brynleigh Boggus, Greyson Bogus, Madison Boggus, Jaxson Ponder, Paul Mays, Samuel Mays, Esabella Mays, Diana Mays, James Mays, Austin McRae, Maddalyn McRae, Haley McRae, and Elizabeth McRae. Also surviving are her nieces Hali Pesnell and Amanda Gathright, along with her nephew David Gathright.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 15, in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Gene Boyette officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
