Ben was born March 8, 1980, to Ronny and Virginia Husbands Matthews of El Dorado, AR.
He worked for Centerpoint Entergy as a technician. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his daughters Madelynn Matthews of Little Rock and Lauren Matthews of El Dorado; sister Shannon and James Kooms of El Dorado; nephews Tyler and Caroline Sanders of Conway and Luke Sanders of El Dorado. Aunts and Uncles Wayne and Bernie Husbands, Steve and Donna Brown all of El Dorado.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, March 5, 2026, 5:00 - 7:00PM, at Young's Funeral Directors.
