Betty Jo Kavanaugh Robert

Born on December 8, 1925 in Felsenthal, Arkansas, Betty was the daughter of Joe Jr. and Rubye Moore Kavanaugh. An English teacher, she taught at Bunkie High School and Covington High School. Betty graduated from the University of Southern Louisiana. She was of the Methodist faith.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James L. Robert, and daughters, Maggie Tedin and Lynne Robert.

Survivors are her daughter Jamie Robert Potlock and son-in-law Steven Potlock; grandchildren Kelsey Potlock, Matthew Potlock, Kathryn Potlock, Melissa Rosade, and Ashley Uno; great-granddaughters Morgan Brumfield, Emily Brumfield, Peyton Rosade, Teagan Rosade, and Elise Rosade; son-in-law Kent Tedin.

Graveside services by Young's Funeral Directors will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Arlington Memorial Park with Rev. Rob Walker officiating.
