

Born March 2, 1922, he was the son of Frank Pierce and Annie Yocum Willett. During his employment years Mr. Willett worked as a pumper in the oilfield, a farmer and was a pipefitter through Local 706 of El Dorado.
He served his country during World War II in the Pacific, Pearl Harbor and the Philippines as a member of the U. S. Navy. Mr. Willett was a 50 year Mason and a member of the Mt. Mariah Lodge. He was a life-long member of Lisbon United Methodist Church. He was also a faithful part of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wife Alene Jones Willett, a granddaughter, Lynne Willett Kranich, and great-grandson, Reid Owen Willett and a sister, Gene Huenefeld.
Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Willett (Dianna) and Frank Willett (Beverly) all of El Dorado. Also surviving are his loving grandchildren, Jim Willett(Alison) of Pleasant Hills, CA, Melissa Willett Green (Chris) of Clinton, AR, Adam Willett (Katy) of Louisville, KY and Nathan Willett (Hannah) of Greenbrier, AR along with 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Young’s Chapel with Rev Steve Pelz officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery near Lisbon under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends at Young’s Friday evening from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M.
