Cathy went to be with our Lord on October 22, 2012. She was born on October 10, 1953, to Carl and Cassie Davis.
She was a registered nurse, who dedicated her life to helping others. She was a kind hearted soul who never met a stranger. Everyone that knew her loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cassie Jo Phillips; and two sisters, Judy Ritchey and Courtney Daivs.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike Phillips; daughter, Jenny Lee and husband, John “Hoopy” Lee; her grandchildren and her whole world, John Tyler Lee and Callie Lee; five brothers, Gilbert Davis, Ira Davis and wife, Vickie, Elonzo Davis and wife, Betty, Bill Davis and wife, Jan, Danny Davis; sister, Lonez Dumas and husband, Eddie, as well as numerous family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by many.
Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Michael Nolan officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
