

Clyde Morris Perdue, 76, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born April 15, 1936, to Morris and Eunice Murphy Perdue in El Dorado, AR.
Clyde was a graduate of El Dorado High School, and married Joan Gardner on April 12, 1958. He was the owner of Dixie Sheet Metal from 1976 to 2001, and was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Joan Perdue; two sons, Marty Perdue (Vickie) and Ken Perdue (Gina); one sister, Eva Nell Birchfield (Dennis) all of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Abigail Perdue, Ashley Nash (Matt), Chelsey Perdue, Dalton Perdue; one great granddaughter, Jaidyn Nash; his favorite companions, Minnie and Bandit, who was his bodyguard.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, at St. Paul Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
