Dewanda Joyce Nelson, 69, of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born December 4, 1952 to Victor Bradford Holder and Iva Othean Davis Holder in El Dorado, AR.
She was a graduate of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. Dewanda taught in the Magnolia and Stephens School Districts and was a member of the Pentecostal Fellowship Church.
Preceding her in death are her father, Victor Holder and sister, Deborah Mitchell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joe Nelson, Brad Nelson, Stephen Nelson (Ashley), and Gary Nelson; mother, Iva Holder; sister, Delois Klippert (Mike); brother, Randy Holder; grandchildren, Jack and Aubree Nelson.
A memorial service is to be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Pentecostal Fellowship Church.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
