Dorothy Loraine Curtis

She was born May 30, 1920 in El Dorado to Zeb Mattox and Hettie Elizabeth Eudy Curtis. Dorothy was a homemaker who loved to read, cook, and look after other people and was a member of First Assembly of God in El Dorado.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Wilton Francis Curtis; and brothers Henry “Mac” & Rukin Mattox.

Survivors include her son Ronnie Curtis and his wife Mary of El Dorado; a daughter, Sherry Feazell and husband Jim of Monticello; brother, Charles Mattox of El Dorado; two grandsons, Shane Feazell and wife Jodie of El Dorado, AR & Christian Feazell and wife Catherine of Holly Springs, MS; two granddaughters, Dee Dee Witherington and husband Russ of El Dorado & Heather Shoup and husband Garrett of El Dorado and five great grandchildren, Clint Witherington, Alivia Shoup, Winter Feazell, Vesper Feazell and Pepper Feazell.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at First Assembly of God Church in El Dorado with Bro. Greg Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
