

Dorothy Mary Moix Lockwood, 87, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born February 1, 1925, one of eleven children, to Peter and Anna Bryne Moix in Conway, Arkansas.
Dorothy was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and was active in Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the St. Agnes Altar Guild. She was a long time employee of National Bank of Commerce, now Simmons First Bank of El Dorado.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Asa Julius Lockwood; and daughter, Lucy Dianne Lockwood.
Survivors include her son, A.J. “Buddy” Lockwood and his wife Anita of El Dorado; two granddaughters, Angela Renee’ Littleton Hinkson and her husband Eddie of Benton, AR, Monica Dianne Littleton of Monroe, LA; two grandsons, Mark Daniel Lockwood and Michael Thomas Lockwood both of El Dorado; and one great grandson, Edwin Lee Hinkson, III of Benton, AR.
Vespers will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will follow in the parish hall.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Gregory A. Pilcher officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
