Born on August 12, 1939 in Evadale, TX; she was the daughter of Homer E and Audrey Ellen Griffis Day. A homemaker, Edith was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Calvin, Van and Travis Day, her sisters Mattie Bee Rogers, Wilma Clay, Inez Kelley, Betty J Day and Faye Mc Cullough.
Survivors are a daughter Regina “Tina” Winget (Bobby) of El Dorado, a son Gregory Richards (Rita) of Evadale, TX, a brother Homer Edward Day Jr. of Buna, TX, Willie ’Bud” Day (Verda) of Vidor, TX, a special friend Laura McGallion of Silsbee, TX, along with 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Private memorials service will at a later date by the family in Texas. Cremation services were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
