Gary Lloyd Lewis

Born on December 5, 1946 in El Dorado, AR; he was the son of Nevins and Martha McGough Lewis. Gary served two tours in Vietnam with Marine Corps rising to rank of Sargent in the 11th Combat Engineer Battalion. He was awarded Vietnam Service Medal with three devices, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Medal, The Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Marksman Badge. Gary was the parts manager for Tucker Trucking and a paper carrier for the El Dorado News Times.

Gary is survived by his wife Donna Turner Lewis of El Dorado, his sons David Ross Lewis, of El Dorado, Robert Edward Lewis of Erie, PA and James Alan Lewis of Calion; four grandchildren Amber Lewis, Alan Lewis, Jacob Lewis and Stormy Lewis along with great grandchildren Cody Wallace, Ali Wallace, Alyss Rose Lewis, Anthony Apodaca, Jason Apodaca, Brydin Lewis, Logan Johnson, Lisa Lewis, and Stanley Lewis.

Memorial Service will be 2 pm, Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Youngs Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services in the chapel.
