Greg retired from Great Lakes Chemical and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and his pugs Herbie and Sophie.
Greg was preceded in death by his mother Marcia Hodge Deaton, a brother Morris Deaton and the love of his life Loa Noel Deaton.
Survivors are daughters Tara Lewis (Buddy) of El Dorado and Tonya Mansfield (Clint) of Kentucky, along with his sister in law Vicki Deaton and several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 am, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Moss officiating.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Directors from 9 am until service time.
