Harold Everett Whisenhunt

Harold Everett Whisenhunt, age 92, of Norphlet, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Harold was born September 10, 1929 in Donaldson, AR to Everett Riley Whisenhunt and Emma Nix Whisenhunt.

Harold worked for Long Brother’s Oil and retired as a pumper. Harold loved to spend his free time hunting and fishing. He was also a member of Pine Hills Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf. When he wasn’t outside he could be found calling the hogs as a proud Razorbacks fan.

Preceding him in death are his parents and two sisters, Emma Jean Porter and Marilyn Love.

Harold is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bobbie Jean Whisenhunt, of Norphlet. His daughter, Brenda Clyburn, of North Little Rock. His brother, Gerald Whisenhunt (Elaine), of Dallas. His grandchildren; Whitney Hall (Scott) and their children James and Sam, Stefan Elmore (Whitney) and their children Greenlee and Phoebe, Ryan Elmore and his son Jackson.

A private family celebration will be held at a later date, cremation services provided by Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Norphlet.
