Ima Gene Lloyd, 85 of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born July 5, 1927, to Emory Edward and Mattie Lee Helton Dendy in Norphlet, AR.
She retired from First National Bank after 30 years of service, she was a partner in Lloyd & Sachs Antique Mall for 10 years, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and brother, Amos Jefferson Dendy.
Survivors include her two sons, John Lloyd of Lawrenceville, GA, Gary Lloyd of Brandon, MS; one daughter, Kathey Bird of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Bird officiating. Cremation services were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
