Born January 25, 1966 in Smackover he was the son of James C. Bass, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Cox Bass. Mr. Bass had been employed as a roughneck in the oil fields. He enjoyed fishing and his canine companion, Poochy. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lisa Kay Davis Bass.
Survivors include two sisters, Rhonda Chadwick (Wade) of El Dorado and Beth Bates (John) of Norphlet and two brothers, Dewayne Bass of Batesville, AR and Ulman Eugene “Buc” Buchanan of Austell, GA along with several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation services entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
