He was a 1963 graduate of Smackover High School, a salesman for Independent Motors and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Smackover. He enjoyed fishing and playing shuffle board. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Preceding him in death are his father, James Michael Terrell; mother, Shelby Owens Langley; and uncle, Robert Owens.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brown Terrell of Smackover; four sons, J.T. Terrell, Jr. (Cynthia) of Lake Livingston, TX, Terry Michael Terrell (Ariana) of Shepherd, TX, Jeffery Allen Terrell (Stephanie) of Houston, TX, Calvin Brown (Jennifer) of Camden, AR; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
