

James Vettie Waller, 68 of Junction City, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born September 14, 1946, to Lannie O’Neal and Mary Lois Bailey Waller in Summerfield, LA.
He worked as a Millwright for Cooper Industries for over 40 years. He was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church, the National Trappers Association, and the Arkansas Trappers Association.
Preceding him in death are his parents; step-dad, Jack Martin; sister, Linda G. Nance; and brother, John Kenneth Waller. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Waller of Junction City; one son, Todd Waller of Crawfordville, FL; two daughters, Julie Waller Piechocki (Todd) and Jennifer Waller Graham (Derek) both of Haynesville, LA; one brother, Charles Kevin Waller (Virginia) of Junction City; five grandchildren, Baley Marie Waller, Lauren Elizabeth Waller, Darby Leigh Waller, Zachary Quinten Piechocki, Dylan Andrew Graham; and “grand dog”, Mattie.
Visitation was held Tuesday at Young’s.Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. today at Wyatt Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Thomas and Rev. Josh Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at Jolley Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.Memorials may be made to Hope Landing, PO Box 10215, El Dorado, AR 71730 in honor of his granddaughter Baley Waller.
