He was born February 21, 1964 in Monroe, LA and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norphlet.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Wayne Watson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lilla Atkinson Watson; siblings, David Watson (Lori), Karen Ray (Buck), Jason Watson (Amy); and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Thank you to his special friends from the El Dorado Fire Department, El Dorado Police and Sheriff Department and Pro Med. He loved all the years spent with you all. To the El Dorado Football Coaches, and Norphlet Baseball, thank you to all the young men that helped in making him have a lot of fun at all the games.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, at Young's Chapel with Bro. Doug Wills officiating. A private burial will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
