

He was the son of James Blake and Earlene Adams Williamson. Brian was born on March 1, 1961, in Texarkana, and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1979. He received an Associate’s Degree in electronics from SAU Tech in Camden in 1981. Brian worked at the Hampton Inn and Suites in El Dorado. He was a regular “MacGyver” at fixing/repairing or problem solving. If it was broken, Brian could take it apart and put it back together so it worked better than before.
Brian was a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 23, where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was honored by his troop by being voted into The Order of the Arrow. He loved the outdoors and was able to hike Philmont Scout Ranch with his troop.
Brian was preceded in death by his parent; and grandparents, J.B. and Maggie Williamson, of Thayer, MO, and Lewis and Minnie Adams of Fouke.
Survivors are his sisters, Joanna Dawn Smith and husband, Byron of Sherman, Texas, Elizabeth Lee VanLandingham and husband, Michael of Little Rock, AR; brother, Lewis Adams Williamson and wife, Lisa Webb of Zion, IL; aunt, Emma Lack of Thayer; and uncle, Louis Williamson and his wife Linda of Memphis, TN. Also surviving are seven nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with Bro. George Thomas officiating will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Rocky Mound Cemetery, Fouke, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors of El Dorado. The family will receive friends following the graveside services at the home of Anita Swanson in Fouke.
