My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Dr. Jason Vickery. 
While I never met Jason, when we spoke on the phone he shared and talked about his children and how they were the light of his life.  He adored and loved them so much. 💕  

I spoke with Jason while he was researching the effects of Gadolinium following an MRI with Contrast.  Gadolinium Heavy Metal Poisoning is life changing for all those who suffer from it.  He truly cared and was eager to learn more about the drug in order to help others by raising awareness to the devastation it creates in people's lives. 
I am truly sorry for his family, colleagues, the patients he served, and for his friends. Rest in peace Jason, it was an honor to meet and chat with you.

Dr. Vickery was my daughter's doctor and had been since she was a baby. Now she's 7 years old. When we heard what happened we were and still are so heartbroken. He was so sweet and cared about my daughter so much and his other patients too of course. You could tell helping people was his passion and his family was very important to him. He talked about his little girl that was my daughters age to my little girl. She thought that was the coolest that he had a little girl her age. We will definitely miss him. We pray for peace for his family and everyone that loves him. RIP DR. VICKERY 

I am so crushed by Dr. Vickery’s passing. I last saw him in late February and he was energetic and enthusiastic. I felt so comfortable with him. He loved to talk about biking in Bella Vista. No one will ever be able to fill his shoes.  Sending tight hugs to his wife and sweet little daughters.

I first met Dr. Vickery when he was a resident and I was an experienced  ER Nurse.    He quickly gained the respect of all of us.  He had a big smile, a great bedside manner,  and was kind to everyone.  Not to mention,  he was smart and knowledgeable.  We nurses trusted him. 
I later saw him as a patient.   He was definitely special and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.  


Dr Vickery, was always a kind person. He always spoke to me, when we passed in his office, even though he wasn't my pcp. I will miss him much!! My condolences to your friends and family.

I worked at one of the hospitals the same time as Dr. Vickery, then he filled in a few times when I couldn’t get into my family PCP as they worked together in the same office. He will be remembered as a very kind considerate physician by me and many other nurses as well and my deepest condolences to his dear family and friends, May God be with you all during this difficult time in your lives. 

My husband and I met Dr. Vickery as our doctor and we quickly became friends. I've never met a doctor like him. My heart has hurt since being notified of Dr. Vickery’s passing. He made a huge difference in my life and I was lucky enough to build a wonderful relationship with him. I hope his family the best; I do not know them, but I can only assume they are exceptional. Dr. Vickery and I talked extensively about my future in medical school, and I’ve ached since hearing of his death. He was a great man and a dedicated physician. 

Dr. Vickery was an exceptional doctor one of the few that actually take the time to listen to you. He truly cared for his pts I have known him as a provider for 14yrs.  He always greeted you with a big smile and you knew he  was listening  to you when he would lean back  and bend his leg over his knee. Dr. Vickery was our whole families doctor. My 2 son’s thought the world of him and so did my husband and I. He was so easy to talk to you and  would listen with great patience. He always had a beautiful smile on when he walked in the room to see us. My heart is broken for all his family, friends and patients. He truly had a great impact on our family for several years. He was the only PCP I recommended to friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all of us.

Dr. Vickery was my favorite Dr. and I am 68.He was so nice and we talked about everything!Like riding our bikes.On one Dr. appointment He said guess what I did yesterday and I said no telling. LOL He said I rode 59 miles with my team and I replied more power to you, not me!LOL  We discussed ways to build a storage shed and I gave him some ideas on building it himself or buy one ready made.I just found out today of his passing and was so sorry!He will be greatly missed and I look forward to seeing him in Heaven when my time comes!I want to send my condolences and prayers to the entire family! I have known Dr. Vickery and his family most of my life. We were in medical school together as well. Dr. Vickery was one of the most caring physicians I’ve ever known- such a wonderful and smart doctor! It is so hard for healers to heal themselves, but we know that Jason is welcomed healed and whole into the next life. We will continue to pray for your entire family as his absence will be vast. I have so many wonderful memories from growing up with Jason. He always made us laugh and had a new spin on whatever we were doing or talking about. From the alley between the Taylor’s and your house - to Mellor park - to EHS.  He will never be forgotten.

Dr Vickery was my PCP for many years.  He was an awesome doctor, and a great human being.  We would always chat about fitness related things at the start of our visits like he was my coach, and sometimes I would forget I was even at the doctor’s office.  I am deeply saddened by all of this, and his family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Vickery was my doctor for a couple of years.  He was a compassionate, caring, and very professional doctor.  Due to my very complicated medical issues he recommended I see an internist.  I was very hesitant to leave him and his excellent care he had provided me.  I'm in shock, to say the least, to hear about his passing.  NWA has lost a very wonderful doctor.  My heart  hurts for his family, friends, and his many patients.  May he rest in peace and know that his care was much appreciated!

Exceptional at everything! Jason was one of a kind. I was blessed to have him as my partner and friend since 2013.  He took care of my children and they love him. He was always willing to give any fitness tips, even to his much less fit friend. He always made time. I think his heart beat so slowly that if not for the ache in ours, would not know he was gone. That my friend is at peace is a small comfort. To his family, job well done. You raised an exceptional young man. To his daughters, may people share throughout their lives the stories about their Dad and how much he loved them.  Well done my good and faithful servant. May perpetual light shine upon you.

Dr. Vickery was such a great person. He spoke to me as a peer and explained things to me in a way I could understand and genuinely showed he cared. As a patient it was comforting to know he had my best interest at heart. He will be missed.

Dr. Vickery was the best doctor I have ever had. He was kind, caring, and a ball of fire and I knew he truly cared about me as a patient.  I credit him for literally saving my life after having my second baby and had post partum preeclampsia. We greatly mourn his death but I am so thankful for knowing him and am praying for his family. 

My deepest condolences to Dr. Vickery’s family and friends.  I had the privilege of working with him at Willow Creek Women’s Hospital and he was my PCP.  He was a wonderful physician and person.  He  will be greatly missed.

Jason was much more than just my doctor. We became friends through the five years he provided my primary care. In fact, I credit him with saving my life by coaching me into making life style changes.  Like many I will genuinely miss him.

He was such a wonderful Dr. and a lovely human being. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing and many prayers sent to his family and my deepest condolences. 

Dr. Vickery was my PCP for the past five years and was the best doctor I have had. We would spend more time talking about camping and campers, how he had to modify his driveway to fit his camper, his new love of the Kansas City Chiefs, and trips to Glacier National Park than we did about the visit. He even invited my family and I to camp with him sometime. I wish that could have happened. I know my wife and I will miss him and his wife and daughters are on our minds. The world needs more people like Jason.

Dr. Vickery was my doctor for the past six years and I have never trusted a doctor more.  He was always willing to listen to anything I had going on, trusted my opinions, and never made me feel weird for all the things I came to him for.  He used to tell me about his kids and his cycling and his passion for life was clear and contagious.  I will miss him greatly.

So sad to hear of his passing. Dr. Vickery was my doctor and friend - a great human being. To his family: you are in our prayers.

Dr. Jason was the best, most caring, compassionate, studied doctor we have ever had.  He was our doctor for 17 years with a couple years break when he was an ER doctor.  He always listened & looked directly at you on a visit & went above and beyond what we ever experienced before.  Though his office was super busy, he always acted like he had plenty of time for us.  We celebrated with him when he raced, married, & had his girls. Tom inspected his home for him before his purchase and he respected Tom's input as they remodeled.  He was destined as a gifted healer/doctor.  We've earnestly prayed for him over the past few months and were so sad that as a healer, he couldn't heal himself. We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of a wonderful soul and MD as Dr Vickery. My son had a difficult past with other doctors and when we got him in to see Dr Vickery my son was so comfortable and elated to find someone that would listen and show they care. He was sad to hear that Dr Vickery would not be returning and he will be devastated to know he has past. My thoughts and prayers to the family for peace and comfort during this difficult time. Dr. Vickery was my daughter's doctor for several years (she's 8 now). We switched to him when she was 2 or 3 and we couldn't of found a better doctor for her. He always listened to my concerns and always treated my daughter like he would his girls. He made coming to the doctor enjoyable for Racheal. I remember she would always play hide and seek with him before the visit started (she would hide before he came in the room and make him find her). He will always and forever be our favorite doctor. For the family, your husband, son, father was incredibly gifted when it came to medicine and I pray for your comfort in this trying time. We will always be your family.

Jason embodied the definition of kind. He brought light into any room. I remember being able to ask questions while I was in residency and would often trade shifts in triage at Willow Creek. 
We rode bicycles on Tuesdays and this is one place he was not kind. He did not slow down, he did not check to see if you were there, he would drop you like a burnt cigarette. But when the competition let up, he would pull you back to the group. He will be missed by many. Wonderful physician, athlete, friend. 

In 2015, my elderly father needed a doctor after I moved him back to Springdale due to his failing health. Somehow we chose Dr. Vickery. I immediately liked him, as he treated my father, who was extremely hard of hearing and was in the beginnings of dementia, with utmost kindness and respect. He was upbeat, cheerful and down to earth. I was so thankful for the care he gave my father. 

My condolences to his family for their loss. He was truly a kind soul.

Dr. Vickery has been my PCP for years. I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. He was an amazing MD, always so full of energy and attentive. I also work in the medical field with many providers and can honestly say he was one of the best. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

So thankful to have known Jason as a student and friend. So sorry for this tragic loss.

As a retired Family Physician since 2000, I can tell you that having Jason as my primary care MD the past 6 years and always seeing a relaxed, caring attitude when he came into the patient room, his demeanor was one of a caring  physician who took the time to "talk to you" and then do a pertinent examination for that day. I gave him a 4"x4" 3D clear cube with a small Harley motorcycle inside and told him it was for his cycling interests and perhaps the need for a motor in his bicycle. He laughed so loud! Always had the feeling he cared and took the time to make plans for future lab and office visits. He never ran patients in and out quickly; a true Family Physician who cared. I hope he had an inner feeling that so many loved and appreciated him as a doctor and person. I talked and texted with him a few times after March and am so sorry for his passing from this world. But he is at the right side of God in Heaven at this time and looking down and giving us patients and friends great  private inner feelings each day. My thoughts are with Jason's  family at this time....

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the entire family.  Jason was a resident physician in the residency program while I was an attending physician.  Jason was always a bright spot of the day when he appeared.  Always smiling and upbeat and positive.  He made your day better!  He was bright, talented, compassionate and caring, and dedicated to the practice of medicine.  I was pleased that he was the Family Physician for my son’s family.  I grieve at his passing.  May he be in God’s presence!  The world is now one more short of a great individual!  

I had the privilege to be the practice administrator for Dr. Vickery a few years ago.  In the time I was there, I learned he expected a lot of himself to always exceed expectations and yet was one of the most humble persons I ever have known.  He never wanted the spotlight to be about him unless it was something that included the team.  He deeply cared for his patients and that caring went beyond the office as I watched over and over again him caring beyond what most would care.  It is a great loss to us all to not have him present with us. It was my honor to have known him and I thought so much of him. Rest in peace Dr. Vickery. 

Dr. Vickery was our Dr. and we are heartsick over his passing. We loved him like family and miss him terribly. We have never had a Dr. that was also a friend to us like he was. The care and compassion he showed us touched our hearts. Praying for his girls whom he loved so much and his family. God be with you all!

My husband and I are heart sickened of the loss of Dr Vickery.  Jason was an amazing physician.  Lived his live with much energy and love.  I will never forget his smile, hugs, Elbow  bumps when Covid struck.  Always felt we were his only patients.  God has welcomed into heaven a precious man.  He will missed by many.  He taught us how to be the best we could be.  

I had the pleasure of working directly with Dr. Vickery in Triage at Willow Creek Women’s hospital many years ago as one of my first jobs in the medical field. No question was too silly for him to answer for me because that’s just who he was. A kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor but also an amazing human being.  One of his  most memorable phrases I can remember was “what’s crackalakin!?” As he swung those triage doors open. It was his “go to” greeting!  It was a delight to work with him and I  enjoyed the nights listening to him talk so passionately about cycling and answering my silly “what if” questions. Which his response was usually very comical. I’m heartbroken over this tragedy. He truly was One of The Good Ones! To the family and closer friends I am deeply saddened you have to endure this! I prey you will find peace and comfort in your own way and time to come. 💛

I’m saddened by the loss of Jason,  I he was such an amazing person both in the office treating patients or at home with his children. My fondest memories of him will be the passion he would tell any story, I was always impressed of how  he could make a boring cycling story seem like the place you should’ve been to see it.  I will miss his quick whit  and that beautiful smile. Words can never express how magnificent a person he was. God bless his family and his girls!

This breaks my heart.  Dr. Vickery was such a kind man & doctor … all around great guy. He always talked about his girls when I was in. He adored them!  He will be so missed by many. 

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Vickery.  As a pharmaceutical rep meeting him when he first began practicing—he was such a joy to visit with.  He always had on his blue scrubs and I would tease him that he was straight out of Grey’s Anatomy.  He will be greatly missed.  Prayers for his family during this unimaginable time. 💙

I was a pt.  of Dr. Vickery’s as well as several members of my family and many friends. He was a great doctor and man. I never felt rushed he always pulled up a stool leaned back and placed a foot on his knee looking like he had all the time in the world for me. He was always very thorough. I was so saddened when I heard of his passing. I never heard anyone say anything bad about Dr. Vickery. I pray that God will wrap his sweet girls, family, and all who are feeling his loss with his love, comfort, and peace  for now and in the days ahead. 

Jason was a special person on so many levels, doctor, cyclist, and friend to me.  His passing has deeply saddened our family.  He will be missed by so many.  He was one of the best for sure.

Even with the medical problems that took us to the clinic,  we looked forward to seeing Jason flash that big smile as he entered the room. The last time I saw him he wanted me to get my picture redone by the office. He said that the one that was on the computer did reflect my personality as I was. not smiling. I had hoped that he would return to his practice. It's with much sadness that I have learned of his death. 

Dr Vickery was one of the best!

Dr. Vickery was more than just a Dr.  He was a friend.  I never enjoyed going to a Dr so much.  He was a Dr and a friend to me and both of my sons.  He was so personable and so easy to get to know.  His passing breaks our hearts.  We want to extend our sympathy to his family. He was a wonderful man.
