

Jimmy was retired from Great Lakes Chemical, where he worked as a supervisor for 41 ½ years, served 10 years with the Arkansas National Guard, a past Master for the Union Lodge #750, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Grace Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his son and grandson. Jimmy was a loving husband and father, who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Peggy Townsend Plummer; three children, Jimmy Don Plummer (Pam) of El Dorado, Alison Cook (Steve) of Hot Springs, AR, Melanie Plunkett (Mike) of Bossier City, LA; four grandchildren, Jarrod Plummer (Ashley) of El Dorado, Cali Worthen (Louis) of Sheridan, AR, Megan Senn (Tyler) of Magnet Cove, AR, Lauren Sadka of Bossier City, LA; and two great grandchildren, Maggie Plummer, and Baylyn Worthen.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Terrel Langley officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
