

After 30 years John retired from the Arkansas Game & Fish as a Game Warden and John was a U.S. Deputy Game Warden. He loved his Lord and his family and served as a deacon for Three Creeks Baptist Church since 1976 and served as President of Arkansas Farm Bureau and New Hope Water Association. John was a member of The Cattlemen’s Association and Poultry Association. He was Arkansas Farm Family of the year 1986 and served as constable of Cornie Township & Ouachita/Union County ASC Committee and was Camp Boss for many, many years.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his brothers, W.L. Brown & Bill Brown and his sister, Mary Beth Jerry.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Brown; his children, John Edward Brown (Patricia); Billy Brown (Nancy), Sally Brown Pittser (Eldon) and Don Brown (Wanda) all of Junction City, AR; his grandchildren, Clay Pittser (Jo), Cody Brown (Sarah) Sarah Katelyn Richard, Andy Brown, Ashley Brown, Jonathan Richard, Ruben Fullerton, Micah Fullerton (Jennifer), Justin Dunn and Jacob Dunn; thirteen great grandchildren and a sister, Sallie Brown House.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at Three Creeks Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Margis, Bro. Brandon Gurley and Chaplain Ken Key of the Game and Fish Commission officiating. Burial will follow at Three Creeks Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. tonight at Young’s Funeral Directors.
