Judy Spears

Born October 18, 1944 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of James Franklin and Adell Halbrook Bird. Mrs. Spears retired from Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission as an accounting technician. She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband Charles Martin Spears and her sister Patricia Dianne (Bird) Raymond.

Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Womack (Joe), and a sister, Jimmie (Bird) Hodges (Wade), her sister-in-law-Veda Harris, brother-in-law’s Michael Raymond and Bo Spears with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Spears enjoyed her life with her husband, Charlie and daughter Laurie, going on many camping and fishing outings. She enjoyed raising puppies and seeing them adopted to new families as they grew. She enjoyed listening and going to country music concerts as well as taking pictures on her trips.

A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors in El Dorado on March 13, 2026.
