Lura Bell Donahoe

She was born September 26, 1935, to Talmage Dewitt and Mattie Gray Clemons in Grenada, MS. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Claude Mac Donahoe; son, Michael Dewitt Donahoe; three sisters, Betty Cummings, Jewel Gatlin, Linda Nell Clemons McWilliams; and a great, great grandson, Michael Daniel Donahoe.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four sons, Danny Donahoe (Jonna) of Calion, Larry Donahoe of Hermitage, Tony Donahoe (Molly) of Mt. Holly, Ronny Donahoe (Kimberly) of Hampton; sister, Carol Clemons of Mississippi; two brothers, John D. Clemons of Mississippi, Eddie Clemons of Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Kevin Donahoe, April Scott, Krystal Greene, Josh Donahoe, Holly Donahoe, Mack Donahoe, Megan Donahoe, Carter Donahoe; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors with Bro. Danny Donahoe and Bro. Eddie Clemons officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
