

Margaret Ann “Peggy” McLarty, 80 of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs, AR. She was born February 11, 1935, to John Francis and Annabelle Freeman Sullivan in Mount Holly, AR.
She worked as the chief financial officer for Milam Construction before her retirement, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she served on the board of elders. Peggy was a member of the El Dorado Golf and Country Club, and the Women’s Golf Association. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, she also attended William Woods University, and was a long- time supporter and huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and her husband, Jim McLarty.
Survivors include her son, Mike McLarty (Mary) of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Margaret McLarty of Hot Springs; three grandchildren, James McLarty (Melissa), Hannah McLarty Snow (Brandon), and Luba Signorelli; two great grandchildren, Theodore McLarty, McKenzie Snow; and her gentleman friend, Bill Lines.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church in El Dorado with Mike Dumas officiating. Burial will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Holly Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
The family will be at 1120 Forest Lane in El Dorado.
