Mark Newell Smith

He was born December 14, 1957 in El Dorado to Orville Smith and Jo Ann Galbraith Smith. Mark worked in maintenance for Cooper, Pilgrim’s Pride and Martin Lubricants. He loved fishing and Razorback sports.

Preceding him in death is his father.

Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Smith of El Dorado; a daughter, Natalie DeTraz (Chris) of El Dorado; a sister, Laura Ann Smith of Magnolia; grandchildren, Dalton & Dylan DeTtraz; an uncle, David Smith of El Dorado, and his sons, David, Danny, and Kenny Smith all of El Dorado; special cousins, Bob & Joy Mitcham and their children, Mike, Michelle & Melanie along with several cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Keith Dodson & Bro. Billy Graves officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
