

Nancy Carolyn Robertson, 83, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born January 2, 1930, to Curtis and Myrtle McCall Crumpler in Mt. Holly, AR.
She was a loving and generous wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, and friend to many. She took wonderful care of her loved ones and always went above and beyond to make sure they were provided with her love and wisdom. She loved the outdoors and spent lots of time throughout her life fishing with her loved ones. She was a wonderful cook and many of her cooking traditions and skills were passed on to her children and probably others. Her kindness gentleness and love will be carried on by the many people she touched throughout her life. She has left this world of suffering for a better place thanks be to the Lord.
Nancy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She worked as a teacher’s aide and was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death are her parents; loving husband, Charles Robertson; and brother, Dr. James Percy Crumpler.
Survivors include her two sons, Don Robertson (Jenny) of Ruston, LA, Tommy Robertson (Debbie) of Goldsboro, NC; daughter, Beckie Smith ( Barrett) of Lake Wylie, SC; six grandchildren, Barrie Smith Copeland (Jim), Cole Robertson, Kylie Robertson, Charlie Robertson, Madison Robertson, Preston Robertson; and one great-grandchild, Piper Copeland.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Young’s Chapel with Dr. Dan Loomis officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
