

Odessa Parker, 86 of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born May 10, 1928, to Elmo Franklin and Relia Joanna Webb Nelson in Grant County, AR.
As a long-time member of the First Baptist Church, she sang in the choir. She was a Prime Timer and attended Champagnolle Landing and Healthworks. She enjoyed the swim exercise classes, playing the piano and singing.
Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Sharon Ann Parker; and the father of her children, Harry A. Parker, Jr.
Survivors include her four children, Harry A. Parker, III of Searcy, AR; Barbara Graves (Danny) of Brandon, MS; Denny Parker (Kelly) of El Dorado; Tracy Parker of El Dorado; brothers, Tommy Nelson (Debbie), Travis Nelson (Polly) both of Benton, AR; sister, Linda Ashley of Benton, AR; eleven grandchildren Kimberly Parker Jordan, Sharon Graves Harris, Jennifer Parker Spann, Joey Gilmore, Jeff Graves, Brian Parker, Christy Parker, April Parker, Derek Parker, Gauge Parker and Gabrien Parker; and eleven great grandchildren Hannah Harris, Hayes Harris, Alayah Parker, Mathan Spann, Makaena Harris, Isabella Spann, Kamryn Harris, Kaydence Parker, Haydn Roberson, Maddox Parker and Cecelia Graves.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Brian Trostle officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time at Young’s. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
