He was born May 20, 1945, to Noel L. and Carl Fitzgerald Morgan in El Dorado. He was a member of the Parkers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Carolyn Morgan and Angela Morgan; brother, James P. Morgan.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Wynnelle Hudnall Morgan of Parkers Chapel; one son, Gabriel Lee Morgan and wife Valerie of El Dorado; one daughter, Randa Stevens and husband Willis; and one grand-daughter, Henlea Stevens of Urbana; one brother, N. L. Morgan Jr. and wife Ruth of El Dorado; one sister, Maxine Andrews of Gainesville, MO; special brother-in-law, Edward Hudnall; and special sister-in-law, Mary Hudnall of Bryant, AR; special sister-in-law, Elaine O'Daniel and husband James of Plain Dealing, LA; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mr. Morgan was a master carpenter for many years. He retired from Hargett Construction in 2003. He was owner and creator of It's Your Call duck calls.
Some might call Randall a carpenter, but anyone who really knew him would certainly call him a true craftsman. He could make beautiful objects out of wood with such grace and skill that it seemed easy, but it was his gift from God.
Randy loved nature. He not only loved to hunt and fish, but he also admired all of God's creations and appreciated everything the Earth provided. He shared a love of gardening with his wife of 50 years, Wynnelle. Together they always provided for their children and each other. Not only with earthly possessions, but they provided stellar examples of how to be a spouse, parent, Christian, and friend. Those are the true gifts a parent hopes to give their children and they succeeded ten fold. Although this is about Randy, Wynnelle and him were so intertwined in life together that you can't speak of one without the other. What a true testament that is to the kind of husband he was and the marriage they shared.
Daddy loved to joke and he was very quick witted. He loved to talk and tell stories. And if you were smart enough to listen, you were always sure to learn something.
He was a man of great faith, honesty, intelligence, wisdom, loyalty, kindness, and strength. But above all he was a man who loved his family and we will always love him.
