Raymond Carl Lewis

Carl Lewis, 67 of El Dorado, AR; died on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. following a lengthy illness. Carl was born October 11, 1952 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lavern Lewis and Lora Francis Lewis.

Carl worked at Great Lakes (Lanxess) for 46 years as a Senior Maintenance Technician. He was a member of the Malloy Gun Club. He graduated from Oil Belt Vocational. He enjoyed working on cars, participating in the Rib Cook-Off, and fishing.

Preceding him in death along with his parents was a brother, Roy Gene Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Lipsey Lewis of El Dorado, a son, William Lewis (Suzanne) of Basalt, CO and a brother, Charles Lewis of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving are grandsons, Liam, Colin and Jack along with special friend, Elroy Gilbert and his cat Tab.

Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 3, 2020 in the Chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation at Young's Funeral Directors will be Thursday 5:00pm-7:00pm. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park.
