Born March 29, 1955 in El Dorado, he was the son of John Wesley and Doyle Anita Leggett Hughes. Mr. Hughes had been a truck driver for Lee's Trucking and Wiltran Logistics.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Gary Hughes along with nephews, Doug Greer and Greg Greer.
Survivors include a son, David Hughes (Harley Vance) of Minco, OK and a daughter, Aimee Hughes (Dallas Sain) of Chickasha, OK. Also surviving are a granddaughter, Jocelynn Sain, a brother, Doyle Hughes (Rebecca) and a sister, Nancy Greer (Mike) all of El Dorado, AR and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Smackover Cemetery with graveside services to follow at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
