Roy William Neill Jr.

He was born April 23, 1927 in Shawnee, OK to Roy William Neill, Sr. and Vera Grace Carnahan Neill. Roy was a WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Navy Veteran. After retiring from the military, Roy served in churches in California, Oklahoma, Arkansas and retired as a Southern Baptist Minister, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ina Ree Hutcherson Neill; a son, Lance Neill and his wife Denise of Victoria, TX; a daughter, Grace George and husband Marvin of El Dorado; two brothers, Jack & Donal Neill; a sister Peggy Nickelson and five grandchildren, Addison, McKenzie & Baylee George and Garrett & Victoria Cross.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Ben Early officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
